About Peninsula Shed Hollesley

Peninsula Shed Hollesley was established in 2025 as a place for people to meet up and learn new skills or share existing skills and experience for the benefit of other members (Shedders) and the wider community. You don’t have to have a particular skill to be able to join in – everybody is welcome to come along and have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat in a friendly and welcoming environment. We currently meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Peninsula Shed Hollesley is located on the Deben Peninsula, not far from the town of Woodbridge in Suffolk. We currently operate from a temporary site while we work on developing a plan for a permanent location. We have three well equipped workshops housing a wide variety of tools and equipment, the majority of which have been kindly donated to us. Our Shedders have a wide range of skills including mechanical, electrical, woodworking, wood turning, sewing, picture framing and many more. To date, we have undertaken varied projects such as making bird boxes & hedgehog houses, making & repairing furniture, assembling and fixing a park bench, repairing a church cabinet lid and even refurbishing a drum kit ! If any of these activities take your fancy, or you want to try something new, we’d love to hear from you.
